Join your motor or sailing boat in Zadar. Settle in onboard before going to explore. Head to the beautiful white sand Saharun beach on nearby Dugi Otok Island by tender. Drive inland and swim in the waterfalls at Krka National Park. Take a magical history tour of the city – from Roman columns to Venetian architecture. Climb the belltower of the cathedral for great views. The only place to be at sunset is the Brazil Bar next to the Monument to the Sun, a giant solar-powered disc representing the sun which comes alive at night with coloured lights.

Wake up as the superyacht cruises to the island of Rab, declared a Geopark in 2008. Hike through pine forests to find beautiful beaches. Visit enchanting Rab Town, characterised by four elegant bell towers rising from the ancient stone streets. See St Andrew’s Monastery with its bell tower, the bell dating from 1396. Sample the local delicacy, Rab cake – a combination of almonds, crystalised sugar, lemon peel and Maraschino cherry liqueur. Explore olive groves and vineyards. In Krk Island, bask at Baška, with a 2 km long sandy beach. Dive shipwrecks, one dating back to Napoleonic times. Try wakeboarding and visit Vrbnik, a medieval town set at the top a limestone outcrop. Sample Žlahtina, the straw-coloured dry white wine cultivated only here. Go spelunking in the cave of Biserujkais filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Have cocktails at Volsonis in an underground 2,000 year old archaeological site before heading to Rivica restaurant on the waterfront in Njivica. End the night at Casa del Padrone, prime party spot in Krk Town before returning to your motor or sailing boat.

Arrive at the medieval harbour of Cres Town in a beautiful bay surrounded by green hills. Wander along the seafront surrounded by Venetian mansions and pastel coloured houses. Head out of town and follow a hiking trail on the original cobbles as laid by the Romans. Go ziplining through ancient oak forests and spot griffon vultures soaring above you. Kayak around the many pretty coves until you find that perfect beach. Head to the village of Lubenice, perched high up, for the best sunset. Finally, return to the superyacht for cocktails and dinner onboard.

Arrive into Pula, where one of the best roman amphitheatres on the planet slopes down to cobalt blue waters. In summer, take in an outdoor opera, play or film here. Wander the Italian-style seafront with a gelato. Later, the superyacht’s tender to the Brijini Islands, once the private estate of President Tito and playground of Roman rulers, and now a forested archipelago and national park.
